Finding Our Missing Piece

About Us!

We met on February 1st, 2021 at the end of the Covid era. We were engaged May 1st and married September 11th 2021.

We have since been able to build our dream home on 17 acres of land with our family and best friends!

We want nothing more than to share what we have with a little one, and help shape the mind of our next generation.

God is the center of our lives and we are praying and trusting him through this process.

WHY ADOPTION?

On our first date almost 4 years ago we talked about adoption. God has given us a heart to find a little one that needs a loving home!

We know the process can be long and hard, but we are praying for God's peace and guidance along the way.

We are excited to be embarking on this beautiful journey of adoption! It takes a lot of courage and love to open our hearts and home to a child. The process may be challenging, but with faith and support, we will overcome any obstacle. We will be partnering with Hope Center Adoption & Family Services and we pray they will provide us with the guidance and resources we need.

Puzzle Fundraiser!

About the fundraiser!

Adoption is expensive. Like stupid expensive. Unfortunately, this reality keeps so many amazing couples from taking the steps to adopt. There is a page in our adoption packet that makes me shiver every time I glance at it! Even as I type this and think about the upcoming payments, I am getting anxious! When we first made the decision to adopt, one of the things that we wrestled over was whether or not we would do any fundraising. In a perfect world, we wouldn’t have to. There aren’t many things more humbling than asking other people for money! It’s uncomfortable. It’s vulnerable. The more we have talked about it though, the more we understand that it isn’t about asking people for money, but asking them to be a part of our story. Our kids’ stories, in how they got to come home. So we are so excited about this PUZZLE FUNDRAISER!

It works like this:

1. We had a 520 piece puzzle created on Etsy. (We figured between the 2 of us that we have 520 friends right?!)

2. We are “selling” each piece for $25. You can choose to buy 1, 2, 3, or 10! There is no limit! You can even go half with your roommate!

3. To purchase you can do it via Paypal, Venmo, or Cash/Check.

4. Once you purchase a piece, we will write your name on the back of one of the puzzle pieces and send you a picture.

5. Once every single piece has been “sold”, we will put the puzzle together and hang it in a double-sided glass frame for the kids’ room so that they can always look back and be reminded of who had a “piece” of bringing them home!

""The most important thing in the world is family and love.”"

We have been so blessed to have a community of family and friends around us!

People call our land a "commune" and we wouldn't have it any other way. To live on the same piece of land with those you love is a blessing we will never be able to articulate.

We named our street 'AGAPE' because we feel God's undeniable love for all of us.
